We use Zeffy to safely process your online donations. We will receive 100% of your donation made via Zeffy, with no fees. In order to provide this service at no charge to us, Zeffy asks donors to “tip” them. The tip in the form defaults to 17%. You can change the amount by selecting ‘Other’ in the dropdown and then entering an amount – $0 or $5 or any amount you wish.

Donations may be also made in person, or if you are unable to come to the Vihara, you may mail it directly to the Vihara in the form of a check or money order, etc. Carolina Buddhist Vihara is a 501.3c organization, if you would like a receipt for tax purposes please make a note with your donation.

Vihāra Expansion!

We are very excited about the creation of this new area which will serve as an open meditation space for devotees and as a multi-purpose room for special events and occasions.

We started to build the roof for the addition and the wraparound porch. With your support, we can complete the roof and hopefully finish the building by spring, in time to organize mediation retreats and to host international monastics.
