Vihara Updates

September 2025 – Carolina Buddhist Vihara is happy to announce the arrival of Ayya Dhammakhippaa.

Ayya Dhammakhippa is a serious meditator and student of the suttas. She began her training in Thailand as a samaneri and sikkhamana under the guidance of Venerable Dhammanandā Maha Theri. After one year, she moved to Sri Lanka to continue her training with Bhikkhuni Halpandeniya Supeshala Maha Theri. Ayya Dhammakhippa will be ordained as a bhikkhuni in Sri Lanka in 2026.
